1) I was looking for a special piece that I do not see offered. Do you have additional inventory?
   We offer our most popular pieces on the site. After many years of building furniture, we have the ability      
    to build just about anything. We specialize in designing & building custom furniture. You can fax a rough

2)  Do you offer wholesale pricing ?
   We are the manufacturer, not a retailer, so all of our pricing is already at wholesale. We do however          
     offer discounts on larger (multiple room) orders. Please contact us at (269) 782-4650 regarding
     discounts.

3)  Why do you not offer shipping through FedEx or UPS?
  FedEx & UPS have size & weight restrictions on shipments. Most of our products exceed either the size or   
   weight restriction. Over the years, we have tried to ship furniture by common carrier (trucking company)      
   and found that common carriers handle the shipment as common freight, not as furniture. If you were          
   moving to a new home, would you have your home shipped by a common carrier ?

4)  I have heard of cedar & pine furniture. Why do you use sassafras ?
  White cedar is light & offers a high rot resistance, but no "character" to the logs. Pine typically offers no      
   character and has virtually no rot or insect resistance. Sassafras offers a character far superior to cedar    
   or pine, has the same density and offers a rot resistance equal to cedar.

5)  How is log furniture built. Is it sturdy ?
  All of our furniture is built to last a lifetime. The log furniture is assembled using mortise & tenon                  
   construction which is proven to be the sturdiest construction method available. We use the largest tenons   
   in the industry and draw the fittings tight with over 2000 lbs. of pressure to guarantee a tight fit. All "flat       
   stock" pieces are glued & screwed.

6)  What about warranty ? What happens if I am not satisfied ?
  We ask that you do not pay for a piece until you are completely satisfied.

7) Can I visit the shop. Do you have a showroom ?
  We have a small retail showroom on premise. We are located in Dowagiac, MI. You are welcome to visit      
   the showroom, but we are the builders and do not have someone watching the showroom all the time. We   
   ask that you contact us and schedule a time to visit the showroom.

8) How do I care for my furniture?
  Sassafras has superior rot resistance and our furniture is sealed with danish oil penetrating into the wood.  
   Water or water based products will not damage the furniture but it is recommended that pieces be               
   cleaned with a good quality furniture polish. If the furniture becomes scratched, danish oil may be                
   re- applied

9) Can I use the furniture as deck or outdoor furniture?
  Sassafras is naturally rot resistant however, exposure to the elements can "grey" the wood over time. If       
   you want to use your furniture outdoors, we offer a UV resistant waterproofing finish as an option.
